During the second research cycle, an experimental course on housing communities and housing standards is offered at the undergraduate level at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. The course begins with a one-day seminar at which all project researchers present the results of their work to date. Through the seminar and a reader with a selection of representative texts on housing construction in Yugoslavia and examples of realized housing estates and units, students acquire knowledge that they apply in their design assignment – planning a housing estate and designing a residential building.
The course is implemented in collaboration with the faculty’s teaching staff, and all team members participate in designing the syllabus and the reader. In this way, the knowledge synthesized in the first research cycle is systematically disseminated within the academic community.
